The hotel is located at the feet of the Acropolis, on the hill of the old town. It is not a standard and anonymous hotel and we appreciated the way the structure of the original building has been preserved and enhanced when the ancient house was converted into an hotel facility. It has a very lovely courtyard and terrace that enjoys a pleasant costant breeze even in the hottest days. It is the place to stay if you want to have a better impression of authentic Turkey. The hotel offers secured car parking. The breakfast was really delicious and we appreciated also the room where it is served, with a nice view over the roofs of surrounding houses. Perfect location for visiting the Acropolis
True, we did not download the directions for getting there and the car gps lead us through a different route. Still, getting through the very narrow streets without causing any bodywork damage was quite a daunting and stressful task. Do not forget to download their directions.

Hera was the perfect oasis to stay in Bergama, we had booked one night but ended up staying for two. Great size rooms, great seating areas indoors and outdoors.you can look back over the town and surrounds. Çem was very attentive and assisted us with whatever we needed. We would stay here again anytime.
We liked everything but probably would just say a small refrigerator in the rooms may have been useful in summer but we were able to use the kitchen refrigerator which was next to our rooms.

A charming historic building with a wonderful atmosphere. The Zeus room and the common areas offer lovely views.

Traditional stone house with pretty patio and nice view from the terrace. We were able to park at the property and walk into town.
It felt quite budget and had less amenities than other places we stayed at in Turkey even though it cost more. For example there was no tea and coffee and kettle in the room, fridge, drinking water. Bathroom had not been cleaned very well and there was no bath mat.
