Location was excellent. We had a room with a small window that was fitted out nicely. Seemed like it was a newer fit out. Good storage, desk and chair. Housekeeping each day and fresh water. Lift worked well. Shower had good flow. Breakfast was fresh but sparse. The bed was comfy and earplugs provided. Aircon worked well.
There was an issue with the account and despot staying for a number of days they didn’t address it until we were leaving for the airport. There was an extra 3-4% charge for a card payment. The washing was super expensive. Housekeeping had a photocopy of the guests passports sitting on the rubbish bin by the lift (total security breach). Water in the fridge wasn’t free and no notice as given. The bed was against the wall and difficult to navigate.

I knew it was going to go well anyway as this is my 3rd time there, I know it and the area very well. I am quite picky as I used to live and work in Vietnam teaching for over 3.5 years and my Wife is Viet but this hotel is in my view the best, great reception team, very safe security tea and the location, any tourist or businessman could not want better. 6 mins walk to Cho Ben Thanh for tourist stuff and Govt fixed price shops and also a good rate money change shop x 2 and access to the metro underground system. Its a truly great location. The main receptionist is totally lovely so is her male security Man. They will both do anything for you and you can trust them both100% to take great care of you, in fact every staff member there does, including the housekeeper who works very hard to keep everything lean. If you stay there just leave 40k Dong on pillow everyday if you can she will really appreciate it. say Mr Simons idea, she will know. STAY HERE,,AND DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THE CENTARA SAIGONJUST ALONG THE ROAD IT IS A TRULY TERRIBLE PLACE. SEE MY REVIEW OF THAT ONE DATED FEBRUARY 2025. Nothing. Everything is top class particularly for the price. They take pride in this hotel. I am going back in about 4 months all being well. But just be aware some rooms do not have a window which I actually prefer for security but they all have great air con anyway . Showers are fantastic quality like from 5 star hotel and spotlessly clean shiny chrome.
