The hotel is located in a vast piece of land on a hill top with assets spread across downhill areas giving it a unique setting and a sense of adventure. The facilities can be accessed via frequently available golf-carts. The rooms are spacious with wide balconies and have all the amenities. The staff at reception, restaurants and housekeeping are very polite and helpful. Overall , we liked our stay at Poetree Thekkady very much.
The food quality and items at both dinner and breakfast were not up to the mark and could be improved upon.
Also, the drive up to the hotel entrance is via steep uphill roads which can be navigated only by an experienced car driver. Could be risky at times .
