The host was very communicative. The location is right in the heart of the city center. The room was clean. And we love the balcony view. It felt like a traditional Sicilian home but with modern updates.
Nothing. Though keep in mind that the stairs are bit tight. They were not an issue for us but if you're extremely obese, it may be hard navigating the stairs.

Carlo was a wonderful host. He helped us with parking and even carried our bags up the narrow staircase. The room was clean and comfortable and we had access to the kitchen. Great location, just one block from the fish market.
The immediate street was narrow and a bit scruffy.

We had a great stay at Altevolte Rooms. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. He even helped us carry our luggage upstairs and made sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage after checkout, which made our travel day much easier. The location was excellent, with many restaurants nearby and easy access to the city center, making it very convenient for exploring Catania.
We had a very pleasant experience and did not encounter any issues during our stay.
