The apartment was incredibly clean, not only the room but the whole building smelled amazing. All the appliances were new or at least perfectly clean.
We liked the convenient check in, all the information were clearly provided, the contact with the hotel manager was quick and easy.
We only didn’t enjoy the lack of hot water for two nights but we understand issues happen and it was all handled as soon as reported. Oscar the manager is always replying fast.
Sometimes we were also loosing the WiFi connection which was not an an issue for a casual user, but maybe would be inconvenient if you need to work remotely from the hotel.

Altavista has an amazing location with wonderful views of the sea from the balcony. Everything is extremely comfortable, very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the hotel and the neighbourhood is very quiet... This was our second year returning to Altavista and I would come back over and over again.

Wonderful location. Literally 5 minutes from many restaurants and the Morre Jable beach. Very walkable though very steep pedestrian streets and stairs. The hotel manager was the best! Gave us free beach umbrellas and a chair. Changed towels after only 2 days, took out our garbage. Best host of our entire trip!! Beach was simply beautiful. About 4 km long! Soft sand
