The family who work/live there were very accommodating and lovely, even allowing us to change our booking a week or so before the stay. It felt like staying with relatives.
Our room had a big balcony and air conditioning, too!
There was a shortage of toilet paper, and sometimes it felt a bit awkward running into the family doing chores/half-dressed, but it was fine. I don't mind so much, but some people may like to know that the bathroom is quite small and shared with the other guests.

Although the host has been more than helpful and tried his best to help out, the facilities were really old and unfortunately not in the best shape. It is surely convenient for visitors who prioritize value over comfort, as the price is slightly over hostel prices but you have your own room.
