From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the wonderful family running Relais La Casa del Poeta. Their hospitality is exceptional—warm, thoughtful, attentive, and always with a smile. They truly make you feel at home and go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable stay.
The room was beautiful, full of charm and character, perfectly reflecting the atmosphere of Gallipoli’s old town. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh local products and plenty of choice—the perfect way to start the day.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of the historic centre, within easy walking distance of all the restaurants, bars, and attractions, yet tucked away on a quiet street, allowing for peaceful nights away from the crowds and noise.
We loved every aspect of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you to the whole family for making our time in Gallipoli so special. Highly recommended!

The host was very kind, helpful, and gave us many great recommendations.
The biggest downside was the lack of parking. There is paid parking available nearby, but finding a free spot was extremely difficult. We spent hours looking for a parking space every day, which was quite stressful and inconvenient.
Another issue was the noise. The accommodation is very noisy, and it often feels like you are sleeping directly on the street, which makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Finally, the refrigerator was not cooling properly, which was also inconvenient.
