A dream apartment with a breathtaking view of the most beautiful beach on the island!
Surrounded by nature, with squirrels even coming to visit us on the balcony — absolutely incredible!
The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. We could always count on them for delicious breakfasts, takeaway dinners to enjoy in the apartment, and taxis to explore the island.
Everything was perfect and the location is simply spectacular. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

Location was absolutely beautiful, especially early and late in the day when you have the beach to yourself.
Chalets we had were high on the hill overlooking the bay. Perfect.
Restaurant was lovely with some great dishes, and the owners are brilliant, very welcoming.
Resident kitten was a hit with our daughter.
Nothing to note, we unfortunately had a family next door who were smoking and drinking until late one night. I had to tell them to be quiet at midnight.

The owner and staff are wonderful, so warm and welcoming. We had an awesome view from our room, overlooking the beach and sea.
We hired snorkelling equipment from a place just near the main carpark / short stroll up the beach from Grand Hill, having the fins made such a difference to us - we even spotted a turtle one of the days we were snorkelling, so beautiful and memorable.
The restaurant was ok, food portions were very big - maybe a little too big 😄😄
There is a taxi service you can ring via WhatsApp or Thai mobile, they take around 10 minutes to grab you from Aow Leuk beach and coming home was easy enough, we had no problems with the taxis. We'd definitely visit again but maybe hire a pickup truck of our own for touring the island.
We love Koh Tao and it really hasn't changed much since we last visited over 25 years ago which is rare these days.
Not a dislike but it would be great if the restaurant / chill out areas stayed open until 8 or 9pm, just so you can enjoy the hammocks, a beer or two and play board games with friends or family in a larger space.

stunning view in a beautiful bay of the island
everything was very old and dirty. When we enter the room the bin was full of toilet paper from other guests. Under the bed it was very dirty and the bathroom was very old and not dlean at all. Ok it was not expensive but cleaning cost nothing. Also no AC available which we knew but it was very warm and only two old dirty fans.
