Näköala parvekkeelta oli upea, sijainti rauhallinen ja henkilökunta oli erittäin mukava.
Huone oli vähän pimeä iltaisin, vaikka kaikki valot olivat päällä, suihkunpää oli aika likainen ja ilmastointi toimi erittäin huonosti. Huoneessa oli kuuma päivällä, vaikka ilmastointi oli kylmällä. Meille tarjottiin mahdollisuutta saada rahat takaisin ja vaihtaa majapaikkaa, mutta saarella ei juurikaan ollut tähän aikaan edullisia vapaita huoneita (fullmoon party) joten päätimme jäädä. Tässäkin asiassa henkilökunnan toiminta oli erittäin hyvä ja ystävällinen.

Review Tree House Bungalows, Koh Tao
My wife & I stayed for 4 nights at Tree House Bungalows on the lovely island Koh Tao. We cannot but speak about the peaceful, laid back atmosphere that dews Tree House Bungalows.
You can stay in two types of ‘Tree Houses’. The bigger ones with airconditioning are build up one layer higher on the hillside. But we stayed in the smaller type of Tree House which also gave us a mind blowing view on the sea through the v-shaped space between two lushly tropical green vegetated hills.
During night and day we left our curtains open to enjoy the experience to the optimum of that constantly changing living painting which amazed our eyes.
The rainy season still was wagging his tail, so in the night we could watch how the lighting bolts zigzagging through the clouds and illuminated them from the inside against the pitch dark sky. Spectacular!
And at the crack of dawn when we opened our eyes the view of that constant changing living painting mesmerized us again and again.
Depending on the clarity of the weather you could see the islands Koh Phangan and Koh Samui, floating on top of the horizon.
Our little Tree House did not had much luxury but the experience absolutely was priceless.
When speaking of ‘The Experience’ I have to mention Pla, the lady of the reception who had a great share in uplifting the enjoyment through her kindness, help without conditions & her wonderful tips that made our stay on Koh Tao for ever unforgettable.
And last but not least there is Neal, invisible but always there like the guy from NASA ground-control center who never lost connection in the communication & direction in which way to “Fly the Sky”.

El hospedaje espectacular! Las chicas son lo mas del mundo! Y preparan el mejor desayuno que comí en toda mi estadía en Tailandia, super variado y completo. Con el desayuno ni tenias que almorzar. Lo mas lindo son las vistas, todas las cabañas tienen vista al mar. Y las chicas del personal no pueden ser mas amorosas! Nos invitaron al cumpleaños de una de las chicas a comer una parrillada! Repetiría sin dudas❤️
Lo único negativo son las escaleras. Dejábamos la moto en la calle y llegar a nuestra cabaña, que era la mas alta de todas, era super cansador. Y nuestra cabaña no tenia aire acondicionado y las otras si, asique asegúrense antes de sacar cuarto que tenga aire acondicionado. Y por ultimo, la presión del agua era baja y el wifi medio malo. Pero verdaderamente son detalles insignificantes en comparación a lo hermoso del lugar y el desayuno!

The bungalows was just super cute, with nice balcony and small lights on the bed that made the atmosphere cozy and romantic.

The shower didn’t have any type of curtains, so every time the bathroom was with water all over the place

Really great stay at the bungalows. We really liked the small bungalows wit the great view. Staff was truly amazing as was the food from the restaurant.
You can’t see it on the pictures but there is a road running near the cabin’s. It makes some noise and disturbed the view a little.

The only downside would be, that it’s quit far from the town centre. So you need a scooter or taxi.

First of all we ended up not staying here but viewed the room which seemed super nice, great view, the staff was really nice.
There is NO air-conditioning in this room. We should have known this as it wasn't listed on booking, but we never expected that a room in Thailand would not have air conditioning. It was incredibly hot in the room so we ended up leaving to go to another hotel with A/C. However if you do not mind the heat or if they get the A/C fixed (it seemed broken) this seems like an awesome place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We fell in love with koh Tao and the treehouse! It’s such a beautiful place and staying up in the hills made it even more magical.
I’d say it is a must to get a scooter/motorbike - but it is worth it to stay in this accommodation and only takes 5-10mins to ride down to the beach and bars etc.
it is a must to eat at the on-site restaurant - one of the best places (if not the best) place we ate on the island!
The owners are so so kind too - they helped us get to the pier when we were leaving and rode down with our bags.
We wish we stayed here longer… but we will definitely return.

I loved the little bungalows with hammocks on the terrace. The view is absolutely insane and the sunsets are beautiful. I loved eating at the restaurant (try their curry's) and just the laidback and easy vibe of the place. It's located in a rather quiet area (which I like) but with a motorbike you can tour the whole island. Big thanks to the lovely staff: they were always in for a chat and make you feel at home! Also they help you with everything you need (like getting me to the motorbike rental place). Would love to stay here again!

Everything. We were supposed to stay 2 days and ended up staying nearly 10. The view of the tree houses is stunning, the food is delicious, the staff is ever so kind. Really feels like home.

The bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was nice. The owner was very hepful and the staff was very friendly.
I feel sorry for the owner who has been very helpful to us in organising a motorbike and a tour. It is often the case that the owner and the the staff are very nice but the hotel/the room is not. In this case the defects on the room and the service are so severe that I can’t hold back pointing them out, in particular because similar remarks were already made here by several other users, apparantly without any consequences (improvements). The room we stayed in was dirty, so was the bathroom. All equipment was more or less worn. In particular the bathroom was really shabby.
In the three days we were there, the room was not made up a single time, even the toilet bin was not emptied. This attitude is probably the reason for the condition of the room. Between guest changes there seems to be only a superficial cleaning and certainly no maintenance happens at all.
If the room price would be 500 Baht per night, I would say, you get what you pay for, but it was 1716 per night. We were travelling for 7 weeks all over Thailand, in resorts with prices ranging from 500 to 3500 Baht, so we can compare. This was the worst value for money place of our whole journey.
Apart from the state of the room: first morning we came at 8:00 to breakfast (by the way the latest starting time for breakfast in our journey), we were served at 8:45. My wife orderd rice soup, they said, they started to cook at 8:00 and the rice takes so long. The water in the shower never got really hot. No complimentary coffee, no chair in the room.
Really, you cannot sell such a room and bad service at this price. I was more detailed than some of the other comments but you had received the message already. It certainly needs some money to improve the condition of the rooms, but hey, some basic maintenance and proper cleaning is not expensive.

The restaurant terrace is simply stunning in its very Thai style and its view.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice place to stay.
The bungalows are very pretty and spacious. The hammock on the balcony is the best!
There are a few steps to get to the bungalows- I guess it’s something to consider if you have weak knees.
Behind our bungalow, there was an electrical switch that may be annoying if you have a light sleep since it goes off regularly through the night.

The breakfast served on the terrace with the view on the green valleys and the sea was top! Delicious banana pancakes! The owners are super helpful and respectful for the privacy of their guests, it was super nice time, thank you Neil !
