Situated in Wainscott, this attractive house for $2,895 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to this all brand new 3400 sf beach home with 4 BR and 3 BA, situated on 3.5 acres at the end of a private cul-de-sac. Two dedicated work spaces with desk and ultra-comfort chairs. Gym equipment w/ Peloton bike. Pool open from April to about Thanksgiving weather permitting, hot tub year round, fire table, professional grill, outdoor commercial pyramid heaters, deck is private fenced in. Village fringe property is 1.5 mi to Sag Harbor Village and about 2 mi to East Hampton Village This spacious home was masterfully finished and boasts an open concept with gorgeous interiors, including a natural wood and brick fireplace, kitchen with top of the line appliances, and lower level with sophisticated finishes. The bathrooms are the epitome of understated elegance with spa like accents. Among other high-end details are imported large marble slab floors, and french doors that lead to an outdoor oasis - an extensive patio with heated pool, hot tub, and redesigned landscaping to enjoy 3.5 acres of privacy. Sonos entertainment throughout the main level. 3 Br upstairs, 1 Br lower level. *Full gym with Peloton Bike, squat rack, dumbbells from 3 lbs to 90 lbs each, 2 benches, bar, and plates, yoga mats, Bosu ball, and bands. *New Pool for 2023. Hot Tub Year Round. Pool is open April until week of Thanksgiving, weather permitting, pool can be heated. Meticulously and professionally maintained. *Two separate work areas with desks and chairs, gig speed wifi with router to support the speed. *Fully stocked Chef's Kitchen with High End Appliances and beverage center. Nespresso classic and Keurig machines, comes with pods to get started and hot water maker. Outdoor professional grilling comes with ample seating under the pergola. *Black out shades *Beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella *Fenced in deck, very private and pristine property with high end furniture. *Newly implemented messaging platform for any occupant guest to request assistance of any kind. Nespresso original line, Keurig, and hot water maker. Coffee pods and tea bags provided to start out. Some or all utilities may not be included, please also see house rules. We experience extortion under threat of violence, an unreturned utility deposit and unfair withholding of our security deposit.
After booking, each time we asked a question about the property the landlord encouraged us to cancel the booking. My impression was that with the onset of COVID19 he believed he could get a better rate if we cancelled. At this time the landlord asked for an additional utility deposit.
When we arrived the property only had three bedrooms set up however the owner promptly dispatched some workers to set up the fourth bedroom in the basement. The bedroom that was set up was not comparable to the pictures in the listing. He again suggested we vacate the property.
The landlord came by on the second day and I informed him that we had an additional 4 year old in the house that we had not accounted for in the booking. He said it was ok. He subsequently called VRBO and made a claim that we had two additional guests and claimed an additional payment. I tried to discuss this with him and at this point he made physical threats against myself and my family (this review does not allow attachment to provide evidence). Given our inability to leave due to COVID 19 we eventually felt we had no other choice and settled on a payment.
The air-conditioning was faulty in one room (which the landlord rectified after a few days), my daughter cut her foot on the uneven plastic decking and we had a faulty smoke detector. Additionally work men would enter the property unannounced frequently to access a shed at the back of the property.
After we vacated the property I sent the landlord a note asking when I would receive the two deposits back (for damages and utilities). He indicated that during our stay a plastic fence and pergola behind the BBQ had been damaged by heat and smoke (he provide photographic evidence of this). We had purchased the VRBO insurance and later learned that the landlord had made a claim on the insurance. At this point I again requested my damages deposit back given he had made an insurance claim. I also asked for an account of the utility use and the remainder to be returned to me. He has refused. VRBO has declined to get involved.
I feel like I am out many thousands of dollars through deposits being withheld unfairly and extortion.
I strongly suggest not renting from this landlord.

This house is perfect for anyone looking to escape NYC - great location between village of Sag Harbor and town of East Hampton. Likewise, Havens Beach is just a 4 min drive away, and East Hampton Main Beach is just 12 mins away. If your kids are all remote for school (mine aren’t), pack ‘em up and move out here for a month. Unlike many EH houses, the WiFi is strong here. Plenty of room for everyone to work remotely without getting in each other’s way. Owner was wonderful - always available to offer help! We’d stay here again.

The kitchen is huge and really fun to cook in; with every item you need to prepare a wonderful meal. New, giant TV's in every room with all new apple tv's that are easy to operate. The location is ideal; 2 miles to downtown Sag and 4 miles to East Hampton. We look forward to renting this house again!

Incredible Gem and Perfect Location
I recently stayed at this property with my wife and 18 month old son and it is absolutely perfect. We were visiting for a weekend getaway to get out of Manhattan and as great as the pictures and description of the house are, they do not do it justice. The entire house is incredibly modern, clean, and has a beautiful attention to detail. The floor layout is open and was great for our son to play around while still being in our view, it would also be a fantastic floor plan for a larger group. The outdoor area is just as perfect - large, manicured yard and beautiful deck/pool/hot tub area in the center of the property which allowed for direct sunlight from morning until night. Plenty of room to relax, have fun, or entertain. All kitchen and grill equipment were state of the art and new, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, utensils and plates. Large Flatscreen TVs, connected Sonos speakers, and Nest products throughout the house confirm the investment to make this a great place to stay. Lastly, David was incredibly responsive from the first question we had before booking right up to we checked out. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a modern and classy stay. We look forward to going back!!

My wife and I and a couple of our grandchildren had a terrific long weekend at this beautiful property. The listing photos are 100% accurate and very fairly represent the home. The house is immaculately clean (really exceptional in that regard), well furnished and thoughtfully supplied with all necessities and more, from quality kitchen equipment to comfortable and abundant towels; even an extra mattress that made a good toddler bed. No running to the store for basics that should always be on hand - because they are all there. The kitchen is fantastic - beautiful and functional - and the heated pool (very effective heating system) and hot tub and associated outdoor seating areas are also spacious and comfortable. Big, high quality flat screen TV's everywhere you would want one for sports and movies, but unobtrusive when not turned on. Property manager David is extremely responsive and helpful. Convenient location, within 10/15 minutes of most anything - shopping, restaurants, beaches, tennis, etc. Obviously not inexpensive but I felt it was fairly priced and good value for the money. I would happily return to this property and enthusiastically recommend it. Highest rating.

Lovely Little Bird
Little Bird is not so little but is delightful.
Clean, spacious, and impeccably designed. The heated pool and spacious deck was enjoyed by all as was the hot tub when the cool evening came around. Minutes from both downtown Sag or East Hampton it was the perfect destination for our family. We look forward to scheduling next years stay. Thank you David!

Amazing
Came out for a girls weekend for Labor day, and we could not have asked for a better stay. This house was everything and more. On top of the gorgeous property, David went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We are extremely happy with everything and so grateful to have been able to stay here. We look forward to coming back!

Hammin It Up In The Hamptons
Our stay from July 28th through August 2nd was just great. The house is perfectly located between Sag Harbor and East Hampton, which is a huge bonus as traffic can get bad during busy holiday season. It had everything needed for a great stay, and was very clean. The oversized deck with a great pool was perfect for just hanging out and reading a book or just to lounge and relax. The hot tub was great for late night when we got back from dinner or whatever beach or area we were at that evening. David was always available and helpful by text or phone call if something was needed. He even checked in and offered to have a cleaning crew come in midway through trip and tidy up for no charge. We did not need that, but it was a very nice touch. All in all, it is a great house to rent for a trip to The Hamptons. The Traveling Cohen Family Clan.
