Hosts were lovely people. We had dinner which was great as was the breakfast with lots of choice. Good room for a double which had a room leading into it that I used as a dressing room. Comfortable bed and very quiet.

L’environnement, la décoration, la propreté… tout était parfait. Nous avons logé dans une chambre très spacieuse au calme, le petit déjeuner était copieux et les hôtes charmants. Nous sommes arrivés tardivement après un mariage au château de St Offenge et notre chambre à l’étage était accessible et confortable. Bonus au réveil : la vue imprenable sur les montagnes et des chevaux en contrebas. Un endroit idyllique !

Clean, quiet and hostess was nice.
Constructive criticism from someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in many guest homes in Europe. Bath towels were shabby (old). Need an upgrade. Simple breakfast which was fine. Dinner was offered for 30 euros a person. Very disappointing. I was hoping for a bit more effort to be put into it. After all isn’t France known for its excellent food? A meatless leg of chicken, boring couscous and veggie blend with no seasoning, French cheese which we don’t like (no fault of there’s) and a half cup of strawberries covered in sugar and a horrible store bought merangue cookie. The cost of the meal for them was maybe 8 euros. I felt very little effort was made to provide a nice local meal by spending more than 15 minutes to prepare. We have spent 32 nights in France. Worst meal we have had and most expensive. I don’t recommend the evening meal at all. The cat sitting g up on the table watching us eat didn’t help matters. And we do love animals and also have a cat.
