The location is great. Very close to the metro (Sungshin Women's Univ. Station), shops, and restaurants. There is a cafe (A Twosome Place) just on the ground floor of the hotel building where you can order drinks or light food. The bus stop is also a few mins walk (there is also one right outside the hotel entrance). It's convenient that there is a public washing machine and dryer in the hotel. Although there is only 2 of each, it's still better than nothing. The instructions on how to use the washing machine was not really clear. It took a while to figure it out because you see two different instructions. The signs suggest you to add soap yourself but then you would also see a sign that hints you do not need to add soap yourself as it is automatic. I think it's a good idea for them to update their washing instructions. The staff was friendly and can communicate well in English.
The aircon did not work properly. We put it in the lowest temperature but still did not cool the room. It was terrible for a hot summer day in South Korea. It also seems like the aircon shuts off in the middle of the night which is the worst timing when you are already deep in sleep and wake up from the heat. The room also smelled funky especially when you first come in. I can imagine this is from all the people's sweat (considering their aircon is not working properly). The room is also carpeted. The pillow was uncomfortable for me. It was too high. My husband didn't have any issue at all though. Maybe because I am less than 150 cm tall?

For the most part the staff were friendly.
I always check the sheets when I go to a hotel, and noticed a hair in my bed, which really grossed me out. I had to get them to change the sheets, and the duvet cover, as there were a couple small stains on the cover, and no top sheet. And she was kind of huffy about having to do it. While there, she decided to empty the garbage bins even though I told her she didn't have to do that. I noticed the same gloves she was wearing while changing the sheets, she used to throw the garbage out, and those bins don't even have bag liners in them. She probably just finished cleaning someone else's toilet with those gloves on too. Gross! I requested for my room not to be cleaned for the rest of my five night stay, so they should have been pleased about that.
I also asked for a couple extra hand towels as they seem to take long to dry. There was also a hair in one of them. Not impressed.
It was also very cold in my room and thankfully they let me borrow a heater, which I had to use every night. I had to turn off the a/c when I arrived, not even sure why it would be on, considering the time of year.
Location was mediocre.
If I go back to Seoul, I'll be looking to stay elsewhere.
