Salterra Resort is absolutely beautiful and luxurious—truly nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and accommodating, always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. We genuinely felt welcomed and embraced throughout our entire stay. I was greeted with birthday wishes countless times by almost everyone I came in contact with, which made me feel incredibly special and truly added to the experience. 💕 A special shoutout to the amazing team members who made our stay even more memorable: Rafi – Great service and very informative. Pisson – Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Leslie at Cobo – OMG! Such high vibes and an amazing spirit. The drinks were a 10/10! Tony – Another wonderful person with such high energy and positive vibes. Lovely at Regatta Restaurant – So sweet and attentive. Shimray at the Spa – Peaceful, kind, and very helpful. Suresh – OMG! The birthday setup and décor were absolutely beautiful, and the cake was so delicious. I loved it so much! I was genuinely surprised and touched by the effort. Gyem – She assisted us with our private dinner and was such a sweet individual. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening despite $635 later, and I’m still wishing I ordered the pizza. Mayu – Ohhh, Mayu! Thank you for the most relaxing Ground Salt Stone Massage. It was exactly what I needed! Overall, Salterra exceeded our expectations when it came to the beauty of the resort, the atmosphere, and especially the warmth of the staff. The little personal touches made my 30th birthday celebration feel truly special. We will definitely be back! 💕✨

I was quite saddened that most of the restaurants were closed during the dates of my short stay. However, Jessa and Yuya from the Guest Experience Team were very helpful in recommending the few available options. I opted for the private beach dinner for my birthday. Unfortunately, on the night of my birthday, my boyfriend and I went looking for the beachside dinner setup but could not find it. After asking around, one of the staff members introduced us to Gyem, who escorted us to the poolside area. The setup was beautiful and ended up being the best part of the evening. However, we paid USD $635 for what was advertised as a “five-course meal,” and unfortunately, the dining experience did not live up to that description. Both the quality and quantity of the food were disappointing and did not feel worth the price. The Caribbean salad was delicious and was definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, for such an important milestone as my 30th birthday, I was quite disappointed with the dining experience. At that point, $635 later, and I’m still wishing I ordered the pizza.

The view from the room was immaculate and service was superb. I though about going to Sailrock, but that place was double the price and East Bay Resort has a beautiful beach with soft sand. The included breakfast was beyond a continental selection. They had a full breakfast menu for us to choose from each day. The good was delicious at the blu restaurant and I got my COVID test back in minutes. They had room service come clean the room each day and provided free water to the room because the island is so hot. I highly recommend. This cost us $250/night and it was well worth it. 5 stars plus!!!

I wished they had more water sports to offer like jet ski’s and kiteboarding. I had to find locals around town to do this type of stuff. Also the massage I planned for the beach was canceled 5 minutes before my appointment because they did not have enough masseuse available.

Location. The island is beautiful. Our driver and tour guide were awesome!

The area needs to be cleaned around the condo complex, the restaurant needs to hire knowledgeable staff, the dining rooms need to be spruced up (basic cafeteria-style), paper straws but plastic bottles everywhere given to guests in multiple quantities with water filling stations around the property???. They also clean rooms with bleach, which is harmful to the environment.
