My stay at Dar Dahab was truly exceptional. I stayed in the Nakhl room, which means “palm” in Arabic, and the room overlooks beautiful palm trees. What made the experience even more special was that during my stay, the palms were being harvested. Watching this traditional process from the room and experiencing it firsthand added such a unique and memorable dimension to my stay.
Nahed, the wonderful lady who owns the place, was incredibly generous and welcoming. She even gave me some fresh dates from the harvested trees to try, which was such a thoughtful and unforgettable gesture.
The place itself is beautifully designed, peaceful, and full of character. You can really feel the care and thought that went into creating it. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy Dahab.
The staff — Ahmad and Mohammad were genuinely kind, warm, and welcoming. They treated us with such care throughout our stay and made us feel truly at home. Their kindness felt completely sincere, and they really added to the whole experience.
I also loved the store downstairs. It has a beautiful selection of gifts and souvenirs, and I found it to be a wonderful addition to the place.
I absolutely loved my stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!
Honestly, there was very little I didn’t like about my stay. Everything was thoughtfully designed and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. I only wish I could have stayed longer!
