The manager Ana is truly extraordinary, easy to get a hold of and went out of her way to check in with me every day by text to see if there's anything that I needed. She helped out with early check-in, advice on tourist activities, and she helped to set up a tax for me for an early bus departure. That morning, she got up at 6 AM to double check to make sure that the taxi had arrived as planned. The facility was very comfortable with a great location in the historic center near. St sophia church, less than 100 feet from the lake, with a view of the lake. It was a pretty easy walk to the more modern area of town near the port.
Nothing to criticize

The host is exceptional. She sent loads of information before we arrived, including lots of good recommendations for restaurants (which we took up) and was always available to check on how we were and if everything was ok. The location is perfect, just out of the busy centre and nice and quiet. The room was clean, a good size, with all that we needed. The little private beachfront was wonderful.
Nothing.

Ana was the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with and we've stayed in a variety of places in multiple countries! If you're coming to Ohrid then stay with Ana! She is so kind and helpful and genuinely seeks to ensure you have a lovely time in Ohrid. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean and include a fridge, which is nice and convenient. It's so close to the lake so you not only get the benefit of the private lake access, but you're also so close to the main jetty and all the local restaurants and bars of the old town. A truly wonderful place to stay!
