We booked this place primarily because of the view and balcony, and I don’t think the photos really do it justice! It was also quite serendipitous sitting on the balcony one evening reading our Lonely Planet book and seeing that it described the top floor room has having the best view in the city. I would book this room for the view alone.
It is a loft room, so the ceilings are low in parts, but the apartment is very spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.
Sandra was very friendly and helpful, especially providing instructions for us to navigate driving into the old town to drop our bags and park our car at the Upper Gate.
The bathroom is a little bit small and pokey, but that didn’t bother us too much. Again, not a negative for us, but just beware that the room is up three flights of stairs which may be a bit difficult for some, especially with luggage.

Perfectly located, updated apartment in Old Town with a gorgeous lake view.
There was absolutely nothing not to like. This is one of my favorite Booking.com experiences.
