We loved everything about this property. We were met by the host, he was very helpful and gave us great information about Matera. The apartment was super clean and very tasteful. The breakfast and welcome food was delicious and very generous. The location was perfect, it was overall a wonderful experience.
There was nothing we didn't like, everything was wonderful.

Pasquale is an amazing host! Very kind and hospitable, help us with finding a free parking spot and provide very helpful information. The apartment is beautiful, very clean and cozy It was a wonderful place to call home for our stay in Matera. Perfectly located! walking distance to everything you wish to visit .. great restaurants, bars, sightseeing etc. Very comfy bed and well equipped kitchen and the breakfast was very generous with delicious mozzarella, focaccia, fruit, coffee, prosecco etc.. exceed our expectations! The Terraza a very beautiful space to enjoy a glass of wine .. We loved it everything very much and can’t wait to be back soon. Very grateful for such a wonderful experience.

The apartment is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the Old Town and many great restaurants. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The host was welcoming, friendly, and always available to help with any questions, making us feel right at home.
We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!

We loved staying in this rooftop apartment in Matera! Pasquale was a great, generous host whose personal touch we really appreciated - from helping us with parking to making really good restaurant suggestions.
It was so nice being able to relax on the breezy terrace in the heat of the day, or to have a few wind-down drinks at the end of the day. Full moon was magical, as was sunrise over the Sassi.
The location was great - a short stroll from everything but yet really quiet when we were ready to retreat from all the action. We really enjoyed sampling all the local treats that were included for our breakfasts. Thoroughly recommend La Casa dei Nonni - we'd return in a heartbeat!
I could have done with a few less stairs, but honestly - they were worth it 🥰
