The location , the apartment immaculate, great shower, immaculately clean, host so helpful, booking.com advert was a good representation. For this price point excellent value

Location was excellent.
Very small but for a couple it would be ok. Bathroom very dark but it is a cave experience. Directions could have been better to avoid us carting suitcases all up and down Matera steps when we could have been informed to get into the city an easier way.
We booked the whole place but before arrival were informed it would be 40 Euro per night to put bedding on a single bed upstairs????? As two friends travelling we chose this place because it had a double bed and two singles. Of course the fine print makes this clear that you are only entitled to the double bed.
