Compared to other hotels in Japan, this one was more spacious.
The staff were the most attentive we encountered during our trip.
They allowed me to check in early at no extra charge. I arrived at 2 PM, and they immediately arranged everything and gave me my room.
Calling a taxi involved a bit of a wait. It wasn’t too long, but compared to other cities it was noticeable. However, this is likely related to the city rather than the hotel itself.

The hotel was well presented and maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were on the smaller side.

Most comfortable bed i have slept on in Japan.
Reception on the 4th floor. The breakfast was very expensive for what food was on offer. Many times we had to wait for the food to be refilled.

The location and their breakfast was nice.
What I chose was the special offer that I can't choose a room. Still, I expected it would be a decent room as the Strings Hotel isn't cheap hotel. The staff was okay. I didn't feel I was welcomed though. The moment I opened my room I got disappointed. The most disappointing was the damaged chair. I don't think what I paid was worth the stay.
