We had such a wonderful and memorable stay at Green Cross Resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and comfortable.
A special thank you to Suganthi, the manager, who was absolutely wonderful. She is such a warm, caring, and professional person. Whatever we needed, whether it was arranging our food or helping with any request, she was always so kind, attentive, and willing to help. We truly appreciated her hospitality.
The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place, and we really enjoyed every moment of our stay.
We are leaving with wonderful memories and would definitely recommend Green trees Resort to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay. Thank you to Suganthi and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would love to come back again! ❤️
The room price was little more than i expected

We stayed at Gate Trees Resort for a week and had such a lovely experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and the hospitality was honestly one of the best parts of our stay.
The General Manager deserves a special mention. She is so kind, polite and genuinely helpful, and she really made our whole stay feel smooth and comfortable. She recommended genuinely good places for shopping, helped us find a reliable laundry service, and even took my partner on her scooter to a nearby pharmacy after noticing that her hand was red and swollen. That level of care really stood out to us. We would honestly recommend staying here for the hospitality and service alone.
The food is on another level too. The aunties and kitchen staff are absolutely adorable, always greeting you with friendly smiles and waves. They serve proper, authentic Jaffna home-style food — the kind you don’t easily find elsewhere. We had dishes like crab curry, mutton curry and puttu, and it genuinely felt like eating a home-cooked meal.
The rooms were homely, comfortable and relaxing, and the outdoor gardens were beautifully kept and such a nice place to sit and unwind.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciate all the kindness, help and care shown to us by the whole team. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!
