As it is a 3 star hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this historical hotel. It gave us an insight into the early days of the town and its interesting locals and buildings. The many past owners of the hotel were mainly from Europe and it became a centre of activity for the area. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service exceptional. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Quaint and periodic decor was most inviting.
Our stay was most interesting and we enjoyed experiencing this historical hotel.

Lovely small town hotel, dinner options & a nice bar
TV in the room was all subscription service, so I did not use this facility

Location was okay
The dampness of the room. The rooms smelled like they were not occupied for a longtime. No direct access from back parking area to hotel. You have to walk all around the facility to the front entrance of hotel. Not logical at 10pm at night in an unknown town or area Felt very unsafe
