Tout était comme indiqué, une maison typique japonaise avec tout son charme. Nous avons adorés passer notre séjour à cette adresse, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir! Le propriétaire était très gentil et réactif à nos demandes. Un must si vous voulez vous rendre à Kyoto

It was a traditional Japanese home. Lovely location and lay out. Great to have washer and dryer.
Bikes had flat tyres.
Rail upstairs is broken and dangerous

Traditional Japanese home in a very nice neighborhood. Very well located by Omnya metro station. Many restaurants & facilities walking distance. 10min taxi ride from Kyoto train station (metro with luggage can be challenging). Nice to have a homey feeling after a day of discovery in Kyoto. Way better deal than any hotel. Very convenient laundry appliances (it is scorching hot in july so 2/3 tshirts a day is a reality). We were 3 in the house, the perfect size. I think it accommodates up to 5. Kitchen is great for breakfast and snacks, dont even bother coooking! Eating out is so affordable compared to Europe or the US.
Nothing in particular. As typical European, could really do with more towels.
