In a good location, close to Dihua Street and the Zhongshan shopping district. Not far from Taipei Main station and Ximen district by bus. Room is quite small and basic (fine for a solo traveler though) but included a hair dryer, fridge and kettle. AC worked well. Complementary water and slippers provided in the room. I was able to leave my bags before and after checkin too which was helpful.
There is no lift so something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues or large suitcases. Paul very kindly helped take my bags up but it was a struggle bringing them down as the stairs are quite narrow.
Bathroom was ok, wet room style so the whole bathroom gets wet after a shower. The electrical plugs in the bathroom really should have covers over them because of this reason.
Not much storage apart from two hooks on the wall.
To note, the hotel reception only opens at 10:30 so worth checking in advance if you’re arriving earlier than that.

The location was amazing. My room was very big and with balcony. The staff was really nice and the cleaning lady asked me everyday if my room needs cleaning.

The very friendly and very helpful staff. Helped us book a taxi and carry luggage to the taxi. The hotel has old memories, however the light is too dim along the stairs. no slipper for bathroom use cos toilet once took bath , the floor is always wet, unable to walk in again without wet my feet and is cold weather v cold floor. If a pair of plastic slipper provided will be great. No place to hang our clothes in toilet and no place to put our tooth paste
