Great location in the heart of beautiful Valetta. Friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful building. Communal areas and pool and spa lovely. Great breakfast.
The bathrooms in the bedrooms need to be renovated. No door at all between the bedroom and bathroom - just a half glass screen and curtain. Shower head provided on the bath but no way of using it without soaking the entire bathroom.

The location is amazing. On a quiet street between Fort St. Elmo and the upper gardens. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was beautiful, quiet and the staff was very helpful. We will stay here again.

We were delighted by Palazzo Consiglia, a sumptuous boutique hotel in the heart of Valetta. We stayed for four nights and had a relaxing and memorable stay. Staff were friendly and attentive, the room was a good size and very comfortable with a low key opulence. The breakfast was varied and delicious with a choice of buffet style or freshly cooked favourites. One of the highlights for us was the spa, which can be booked in advance.
The only two criticisms for us were the bathroom which was separated from the main villa only by a net curtain. and the absence of an external window. The bathroom, wash basin and toilet area themselves were beautifully appointed and comfortable, but the lack of a solid door means less privacy than some might expect. The only window in our room looked into the infernal courtyard limiting natural light.

Attention to detail not great. Very average breakfast. Glasses from drinks in our room on the second night not cleared away and still there when we left.
