Lighthouse Guesthouse

Really pleasant stay. We had a room upgrade for free- thank you. Friendly staff. Good location in Nungwi, perfect beach and sunset

Amazing location in Nungwi for the price! White sand blue water beach. We booked a deep-sea fishing trip with the owner and hit the jackpot- a huge marlin! It was an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing stay at Lighthouse Guesthouse! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hospitality was truly exceptional! Everyone was so warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. A very special thank you to Dulla, who was absolutely amazing! His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made my stay even more memorable. He really went above and beyond, and I appreciated every bit of it. The location is also perfect! Just a minute’s walk to the beautiful Nungwi beach, with lovely restaurants, supermarkets, and taxis all conveniently nearby. Everything you need is practically on your doorstep. What made this place truly special was how welcome and cared for I felt. It didn’t feel like I was staying at a guesthouse; it felt like a home away from home. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend Lighthouse Guesthouse to anyone visiting Nungwi. Thank you for making my Zanzibar experience so special!

Having to check out 😭😭

Location is good, staffs friendly.

For the price, I expected much more. The property looks better in the photos than it does in reality. It is quite old and in need of renovation. The bathroom was poorly maintained. The shower had no screen or curtain, so water splashed all over the floor and around the toilet. There wasn’t even a bath mat to dry your feet after showering, leaving the entire bathroom wet and dirty. I was also given a room with the generator right outside the door. It was extremely noisy and made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep
