Unique accomodation in a monastery.
Good breakfast. Perfect location in the heart of beautiful vine village of Gumpoldskirchen. Perfect short trips possible, very good traditional food within few steps. We stayed there with a grandchild and our dog. Walks possible along vineyards.

Quiet, peacefull area with vineyards around the castel. Amazing view from hotel room. The access to the historical castel by little stone bridge over the moat. We feel ancient time atmosphere being there. Beautifull courtyard, staircases and original decoration, furniture and paintings. Gumpoldkirchen is worth to stay not only as a stop during the trip. Excellent restaurant 2 mins walk. Parking facilities just by the castle entrance is an advantage.

Het hotel ligt heel rustig en ligt in het mooiste gedeelte van Gumpoldskirchen. Ook ligt het aan mooie wandelroutes en op een kwartier lopen van het treinstation.
De treinverbinding naar Wenen is goed: in circa 35 minuten is er 2x per uur een rechtstreekse verbinding.
Gezellige restaurants liggen vlakbij maar er is ook een kookgelegenheid in het hotel die gebruikt kan worden.
De gastheer is vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.

We hadden een driepersoonskamer die weliswaar ruim en schoon was maar verder zeer sober en ongezellig was ingericht.
De bedden met dunne matrassen
Het zeer sobere ontbijt.
