Wonderfully warm welcome, despite a little mix up with the room. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Stunning, serene location, beautiful room and spotlessly clean. Delicious dinner served on the terrace and equally yummy breakfast.

The property is in lovely grounds with picture windows to sit behind should the wind blow or the rain pour, either way you are guaranteed a superb experience. If you stay as for evening meal and drinks, the host is a fabulous cook, we just asked for a surprise and she made us a fantastic king prawn and scallop salad followed by mushroom cream and veal casserole and a simple risotto, followed by a home made rare and ice cream. 45euro each a bottle of wine 15e and it was superb.

Our room was clean and spacious. The grounds are extensive and well looked after. There is secure parking. The views across the champagne vineyards are very attractive. The other guests were very friendly.
Our meal was average, with no choice - and was rather expensive. The wine list was short, and expensive for what it was, and, despite that, the wine hadn’t been chilled in advance - and so was late in arriving (just slightly chilled) at our table.
The meal would have been served in the conservatory, but, with a significant number of other guests being present, it was very very noisy, and so we ate outside - this wouldn’t have been possible in bad weather.
