The quiet neighborhood location was perfect for us. Fiumicino is close to the airport, making a morning departure from Rome easy and unrushed. Monica, our host, was easy to communicate with both before and during our stay, and she provided restaurant recommendations within walking distance. (Ristorante Pizza 110 was lovely.) The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the AC worked well. Breakfast is not fancy but was perfectly adequate for our needs and preference for self-service. I'll book again when the time comes.
Liked it all, so no complaints! I was perfectly happy to be in a "real" neighborhood. However, if you are looking for the lively tourist area, this is not the spot. It is a bit of a walk or bike ride to get to the waterfront.

I got probably the warmest welcome ever. The house was just amazing. A lot of beautiful details in decoration and information for the traveller. Breakfast was set on the table, everyone and everything had it's place. The cherry on the cake was the bikes, I borrowed one to cycle to a restaurant. I used the local bus to get there, it's only a short walk from the nearest bus stop.

The host is very friendly and helpful. She offered me one of the books left by previous guests when she saw me reading it at breakfast. Her homemade tiramisu was delicious;
