Dali is a charming place where time seems to stand still, yet it offers travelers every modern comfort and convenience. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive—they even helped us load our luggage into the car. It was a truly delightful stay! The air cooler (not an air-cond) is doing it's job and won us over gradually.
WiFi connection is unstable, but could be due to the software that we're using aren't acceptable by the local authority.

The hotel staff went the extra mile to prepare for us two sets of heart-warming breakfast on the day we departed very early for Lijiang. Woke up very early to drive us out to the main road to take our transport to the train station.
Absolutely nothing as they have really won our hearts with their great hospitality and sincerity!

Beautiful quiet retreat from the busy town centre. The staff were wonderful. Helpful polite and made our stay a very enjoyable experience.

The historical courtyard building setting is very authentic and beautiful.
It has the authenticity of an old historical building but unfortunately does not have the comfort of modern hotel. The windows are old windows with a huge gap between the window shutter and the opening, no glass just wooden shutter for window, the door is a thin piece of plank, the room has absolutely zero acoustic insulation, lighting in the room is bad, no AC and there is constantly a foul smell coming from the bathroom floor trap, so bad that the smell woke me up at night and I had to try to find a way to open the bathroom wooden shutter window with the wooden rod that is supposed to make the window stays opened. And the tv has 3 channels which sometimes do not even work. Wifi is really bad.
The younger staff who checked us in and who was mostly at the reception lacks the basic attitude of hospitality service. She seemed very impatient when I asked her questions about wifi, the area around us and others, and not helpful to suggest anything.
It is a pity for such a nice setting.
