The courtyard where this accommodation is situated in really scenic and cultured, making you feel like you got transported back in history. It is also situated right inside the historic Da Li city, right off the main street, but remains pretty quiet despite it being so near. The room itself looks modern enough with modern accommodation requirements, and there was free flower biscuits with the stay. The hotel staff will meet you at where your car can drop off then pull your luggage in to the hotel which is a few hundred metres away. Hotel lady boss was very friendly. There is a nice courtyard to chill in and even a pizza oven if you are into that sort of stuff. At night, there is a screen in the courtyard that plays movies.
The showerhead was really dirty, had parts that I could rub off with my finger. The drainage slope and system for the shower was also really slow, which meant that when we showered the night before, the next morning there was still a puddle of water on the floor. The hotel staff recommended some chartered car services that was much much more expensive than those recommended to be the fair price elsewhere.

Excellent location right in the centre of old town. Staff were incredibly helpful. Reed was especially helpful in helping us find good road bike rentals for Erhai Lake and facilitating some clothes washing.
