The biggest advantage of this apartment is its location. It is very close to the port, Palermo Central Station and the historic Old Town, all of which are easily accessible. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafés just a stone’s throw away, so you really have everything you need within walking distance.
One practical tip if you are arriving by train with luggage: although the Central Station is only about 1 km away, I would recommend taking a taxi rather than walking. The stone-paved streets can make dragging suitcases quite difficult and may be tough on your luggage wheels.
The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. The building is old but has an elevator, which is a big advantage when travelling with luggage, especially as the apartment is on the second floor. The marble throughout the building also keeps it remarkably cool — a very welcome relief when returning from Palermo’s summer heat.
Our host, Mariela, was lovely and extremely helpful. She personally explained the house rules and the area, gave us useful guidance on buses and getting to the beach, and even offered to arrange a taxi to the airport. Her hospitality really added to the stay.
The facilities are generally good, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean and neat, although the shower cubicle is a little cramped.
These are relatively minor points. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would particularly recommend this apartment for its fantastic location, spacious rooms and wonderful host.

The location is perfect, you are in the middle of everything. The apartment is spacious, especially the kitchen. A nice terrace as well.
They have two bathrooms, both with very small showers. One was slightly bigger, but still small. I didn’t understand the layout of the flat, I could have been done in a more logical way to create space for a washing machine and bigger shower. We did a self check in, but the host still needed to see us to sign a contract.

very nice and a good location. definitely no parking available. the main problem was the mold in the closet which I believe is from the shower leaking. looks like the painted over! But it stinks really bad! host was very pleasant. Down town in the older part.
