Great location for the hiking into the falls. Coffee at the Home Slice bakery was fantastic. The home made pizza was one of the best I have ever had at the onsite restaurant. We stayed at the Round House which although quite old was great. The beds were very comfy. Lots of firewood was provided. Truly an amazing setting. We had a great weekend
Unfortunately, the place was extremely dirty on arrival. We had to clean the shelves in the bedrooms before we could unpack. The dining room table thick with dust and we ended up cleaning the crockery and glasses. The whole place needs a deep clean. The hot water in the one bathroom took a long time to get hot and we gave up waiting on the first night and just used the one bathroom.

Instructions were given clearly , the room was neat the kitchen had all the utensils nealty stacked away .

That there was no tv in cottage, but we understand they want to have the farm feeling.

It was quiet, maybe too quiet. Would like to have joined in a social event being on my own so would have liked to see more foot traffic in the area. Otherwise, the surrounds were beautiful and safe.
The Wifi is terrible. Could not watch the live rugby feed and there was nowhere locally that it was available to see it (or if there was it was not well advertised). While I appreciate the easy of check in, the lack of contact with the host means you do not have any inside information or contact on local current events.
