If your priority is the night market, the location is fantastic as the hotel is only a few streets away from the night market. The female front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciated that there were filtered water dispensers available on the ground floor in easily accessible locations. There are 2 lifts, each located at different locations - very thoughtfully designed as you can use the one which is closer to your room. Although we didn’t use them, we appreciated the supply of toiletries that aren’t usually provided in hotels - a delightful surprise. We really felt the warmth of the operator’s/owner’s hospitality through such details.
Only one pillow each was set on the bed. We requested for extra pillows from a male front desk staff member. When we returned after a few hours, we still hadn’t received the extra pillows. They were provided after a follow up call to the front desk. The promptness in service by that particular staff member could have been better.
It is an older hotel, but the bed and facilities were comfortable enough.

I like that the location of the hotel was directly beside the night market, and also very near to many shops.
The room was generally smaller, especially for the double room.

The hotel is very conveniently located near Wenhua Night Market and other yummy food options. The hotel staff is helpful when we requested for assistance with the room.
We stayed for two nights at the hotel. The hotel room had a very musty smell the moment we stepped in and the smell stayed throughout the first night of our stay. The hotel staff provided a dehumidifier for odour removal the next day upon our feedback and while things got better the second night, the same smell returned the next morning before we checked out. The room furnishings were old and tired-looking. The bathroom was rather tiny and did not look clean. One of the bath towels was stained. Overall, it was not value-for-money.
