While it was marketed as a family hotel, it’s actually very good for solo travellers or couples! The bed was good, facilities were decent, and I liked the little quiet stone garden before from reception to finding our rooms.
Seemed like there was an option to eat the restaurant there while I was there. But it’s prob cause I arrived quite late and had to check out early too.

To be fair, the room was spacious and the location is very convenient, right across from the train station. The facilities looked clean and relatively new. They also offer a simple breakfast, which I can’t complain too much about since it’s free—but I’d still recommend eating breakfast elsewhere.
I booked a standard double room without a window, and the moment I entered, there was a strong sewage smell in the room. I spoke to the receptionist about it, but she was quite indifferent and didn’t seem apologetic at all. She even claimed that no one had ever complained about the smell, which I found hard to believe after reading through other guests’ reviews. I saw at least 5 comments taking about the bad odor.
In the end, I asked to pay extra to move to a room with a window as the staff said no refund is possible. The new room was better, but still had a musty odor. I had to leave the window open all day just to make it bearable. After two nights there I start to have green phlegm in my nose, not sure if that’s due to the smell.
