I loved everything about Long Quay. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and pubs. The room was spacious and bed was comfy. The breakfast with fresh cooked eggs was yummy. The best part of all, though was the welcome we received upon arrival even though we arrived late. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Long Quay is a perfectly restored/ maintained guest house on the waterfront. Peter, the owner and his wife have made it a labor of love, and it shows. Wonderful breakfast, very helpful and insightful suggestions for things to do and see, and a cozy room made it a perfect place to stay. And you will love Kinsale too!

Food was good.
Sump pump in another room came in and off all night. Shower dripped constantly. Room door was outside with entry door for hotel, which people needed to unlock with a key, all even and late into night. It was loud. Bathroom sink faucets were so small it was impossible to wash your face. Light from hallway lit up our front door edges all night. Gray Hearthstone stuck up an inch from gray carpet, causing a tripping hazard. Taxis park outside our room and come and go all evening. Exterior lights glared into our room window until late at night, without appropriate room darkening shades.
