Schönes Boutique Hotel etwas abseits des Zentrums - sehr hilfsbereites Personal und schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt zwar an der Bahnlinie, aber wir haben keine Zug gehört

This is a stunning hostel that is super pretty! Loved the pool and the breakfast is amazing. Rooms were super clean. Staff extremely friendly!
I love the place it is just not very social. First, I was the only one in the dorm and didn't connect to the groups who surf together. What I found problematic is that there is a lot of light when you want to sleep. In the night the light bulb shines through the milky glass door. In the morning also from the bathroom. There are no curtains for the bed so when a girl checked in at 3 am and needed until 5 am I was awake because I couldn't hide my face from the light. Additionally, it is a bit away from the main atrip, so especially walking home at night was not ideal. There are only rocks in front of the hostel so you can't swim here.
For these downsides I just find this place extremely expensive. 37 for a night. With that come certain expectations. After that I stayed in a place for 9 dollars and slept so much better !

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Kabalana. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
During my stay, my flights were cancelled due to the war and I unexpectedly got stuck in Sri Lanka. The hostel was extremely understanding and kindly allowed me to extend my stay to 8 more days with a 20% discount, which I truly appreciated during a stressful time. Their warmth and support made a big difference.
The hostel has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, perfect if you want to unwind and stay away from the crowds and busy city areas.
It's a bit far from the city but I don't mind because I wanted to be away.

The room was modern, quiet and incredibly clean with daily servicing. The grounds were well kept with a gorgeous pool and dining area. There are hammocks, loungers and beanbags in social areas. It was a really really great place. Nutritious breakfasts and delicious smoothies!
