Por la noche no había luminaria en la calle, el baño era compartido con otras personas. No pudimos usar hamacas Algunos inquilinos estaban tomando en las mesas

Awesome, great hammocks

Super friendly staff, also offered to pick us up from their ferry port which is very close by the way Nice property and aaaawesome hammocks! I was sick when I was there so I spend a lot of time there and it was so nice to be able to change from my bed into a hammock sometimes. They are still building up and improving, buying more things but it’s already really nice

Not enough soup bowls but I’m sure by now they already bought some

You get what you pay for.

We have alot of mixed feelings and would recommend the hostel for 1-2 nights maximum. We were glad that we were actually out about all day and didn't have to spend much time in the hostel. - Location in the city and walking distance to the ferry - Outdoor area actually quite nice - Laundry service was fair - two ladies from the room and breakfast service were super nice and friendly - Reasonable price - Breakfast was OK, but there is the same thing every day (pancakes with bananas)

- very weird vibe - the owner or manager was there most of the time, spoke very good English and always helped with questions, but still seemed uninterested and bored - We had a private room that was directly adjacent to the terrace with the tables. Due to the heat, you have to sleep with the window open, which is difficult when there are people on the terrace talking - Scooter rental too expensive - we went into town to another provider - the accommodation does not have a swimming pool. I have seen two reviews and a video on Google that say there is a swimming pool. This is not the case. It's not the hostel's fault, but it was still a misunderstanding and a disappointment for us. - The kitchen was poorly equipped - the bathroom could definitely use a renovation too - on our last night, half a soccer team of teenagers suddenly checked in after 10pm. Therefore it was very loud. They ran through the house and were suddenly standing in our room. We were almost scared to death. The biggest disappointment, however, was that we did not receive an apology. Not even the next morning, even though the manager was on site. And if you know that so many people are going to check in late, then you could have warned the guests in advance. For us, that shows how indifferent he was to everything.

They offer a free pick up from the ferry. As it is quite close and we didn't have a lot of luggage we did not make use of the service. Very nice hosts, especially Antonio was always ready to answer my questions. You can rent scooters from them and if you wanna hike up the vulcano Conception you can book it with them. They also offer a laundry service. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom was very clean.

There was only one big knife in the kitchen but other than that nothing to complain. Had a great stay at Casa Mauro

Every thing is done by cash, and facilities need some work.

Superb

The property is huge, a bit away from the centre but not too away so it is both peaceful and accessible to the main part of the town. They have a beautiful front yard, the dorms were comfortable and the kitchen was squeaky clean! Loved it:)

The day I arrived there was no electricity or water for four hours and it was annoying but it seems like the whole island has the problem so I must not pin it on the property

Friendly staff, good price, lots of seats and a few hammocks. Also has a pool table Lovely garden My dorm had one fan per bed which was great

Nice stay for a few days..

friendly atmosphere, beautiful garden and seating area, pool billard table., free parking, walking distance to the Center of Myogalpa

My Room was very dated, very hot during day and night, the shower had poor water pressure

Wonderful! The hosts were excellent, very helpful.

Antonio picked me up from the port and answered all my many questions. He was very helpful with renting the atvs directly from the hostel and when I wanted to rent longer it was easy to message him and extend the time. I would highly recommend this hostel.

No breakfast offered. Not much

Whole place seemed unfriendly and be aloof. No Information no services offered . Room stuffy and hot. Overpriced for what I got. Not helpful staff couldn't be bothered attitude. Didn't like this place at all.

a few minor issues but for the price we cant really complain

the staff were great, happy to pick us up from the ferry and arranged scooters for us when we asked for a really good price and really quickly. The location was nice and close to the port and nice common space outside.

there is only 1 bathroom with a toilet and shower for all of the rooms. there was a power cut for most of the night which they cant help but our room really held heat and it was far too hot without the fan. we also had an issue with ants appearing in the room out of nowhere and infesting one of out bags completely which was less than ideal. the staff were helpful in removing them but it wasnt a pleasant experience.
