The perfect location for central Edinburgh

Location, views, decor and room size. Showers were excellent too.

No coffee pods or breakfast tea bags (looked like they’d been left by previous guests). Pillows very thin. So many stairs but that can’t be helped.

Beautiful apartment with all of the desired amenities and was very conveniently located

Location was very convenient to the locations we visited. We were able to walk everywhere we went (Carlton Hill, Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral, etc)

couldn’t fault the accommodation, very comfortable and clean. Only downside was the noise from the nightclub a few doors

lovely accommodation, very comfy beds. Great location right in the city centre.

unfortunately there is a night club a few doors down so the front two bedrooms were affected by the music until the early hours. Back bedroom was fine.

Excellent stay and apartment, minus the nightclub noise.

The location of the apartment and the views were amazing. It is a very convenient walking location being right on George St. The views of the castle were wonderful, and also the view of the Firth on the opposite side of the apartment were gorgeous as well. The apartment is very large and it was plenty of room for a family of 4. It was very clean and well maintained.

There is a nightclub located downstairs from the building and the loud noise kept us up every night. It was VERY loud at this part of George Street due to many night clubs in the area.

fantastic location, luxury accommodations. it’s a Jekyll and Hyde location, close to everything, and very close to a nig

excellently furnished, fantastic views of the castle on one side and water on the other. superb bedding and pillows. walking distance to all of the new and old town.

there is a late night bar / club called Eastside that is open from 5pm-3am at 51 George street. You hear the beats and crowds until 3-4 am.

Excellent location. Clean and spacious apartment. Updated kitchen and bathrooms.

Apartment was very spacious. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Apartment was very clean. Location was excellent. Within walking distance of major sightseeing places. Lots of shopping within a short walk.

Closets did not accommodate long dresses. It would have been nice to have some paper napkins and towels available.

Wonderful stay. Would come back again.

Lots of space, and the location is great. The apartment is well appointed with everything one would need. We really enjoyed having the room for the family to spread out.

Duvet cover in master bedroom was very dirty. We set that aside. Everything else was in fine order. The front bedroom only has single pane windows and is quite noisy with the nightclub below.

Exceptional

Literally, the pictures do not do this place justice! In an older building, the apartments have a sophisticated, modern design, signifying elegance. With all new appliances, beautiful furniture, amazing response time from the hosts, and an EXCELLENT location, I'd absolutely recommend these apartments to anyone traveling to Edinburgh.

Having to really rack my brain, I'd say the only "downfall" is having no lifts in the building. Though, if. you don't have mobility issues, I'd say that it's no big deal!

Spacious, comfortable, great location, needs to be stocked better for longer stays.

The central location was perfect. Easy to get anywhere and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I would stay here again just because of the location. Heat and hot water and water pressure in the shower were all great.

For a group of us staying 9 nights, it was poorly stocked. No paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen of any sort. literally 1mm of fairy liquid. 2 rolls of TP. There are no shelves in the showers for soap and shampoo so everything has to go on the floor. Handles on the cabinets in one bedroom fell off immediately. The keypads are super handy and it is nice to not have keys but the pads were very hard to use. if you didn’t place your thumb in the right place or your hands were cold, it took a long time to get them to work sometimes.

Nice furnishings. Excellent location. Large apartment. Nice views.

Poor fixtures and fittings. No curtains in second bedroom meant light shining in from street into the bedroom throughout the night. Unable to use the shower in main bathroom due to shower cubicle broken and extremely dangerous. Broken smoke detector in main bedroom. Broken microwave and could not use. No extractor fans in either of the bathrooms. Very, very noisy all throughout the night due to night clubs / bars opposite and below - people exiting nightclub as well as loud music could be heard throughout the night. Lack of double glazing meant you could hear everything. Lack of utensils and crockery in kitchen meant we were constantly having to wash up and reuse the few items available. Do not recall being warned about amount of stairs to get to the apartment - 3 flights of stairs to get to penultimate floor. Duvet in main bedroom far too small for the king size bed.

Nice but did not meet expectations of a luxury accommodation

1. Convenience of location (though could hear very noisy people outside in the early hours!) 2. Spacious shower 3. Comfy mattress 4. TV in bedrooms 5. Nice and warm with good heating 4. Speedy response to hot water problem

1. Lounge (uncomfortable sofa, TV badly wall mounted as not central above fireplace and wonky! Decor) 2. Lack of proper welcome pack (small milk in fridge, local biscuits etc would have been nice) 3. No instructions for kitchen appliances which we were unable to operate 4. Lack of kitchen essentials (Hand towel, kitchen roll, dishcloth, washing up bowl) 5. Quilt too small for bed size and cover poorly put on (over 6 inch gap between top of quilt and cover). 6. No choice of pillows and low standard, tho luckily they were just OK 7. No bannister on initial flight of curved stairs

Large centrally located flat - top quality finishes.

Great central location, large rooms, modern and stylish furniture. Quality beds, modern bathrooms, well equipped kitchen (minus forks!), free coffee/tea/milk. Fantastic views from 3rd floor flat. Would definitely recommend this for location, size and decor!

Only minor call-outs (no show stoppers!) - there was only 1 fork in the flat, the printed info on check-in/out times and wi-fi password was wrong, did not know how to activate the outside door (had to call) and was not clear what flat we were staying in (had to call again), and had no idea where to take the bin (it said ‘community bins’, but there was only normal street bins outside - try fitting a full bin bag into that :-)

Very nice luxery apartment - importand information

The apartment is very spacious, beautiful luxery apartment with very nice living room and very comfy bedrooms and beds. The bathrooms have very nice showers. The location on George Street is very good except for the bar/nightclup just beside the apartment that was open until 3 a.m. and very loud music so it was hard to get sleep until than.

As much as we loved the apartment the stairs up to the apartment are very steep. Our apartment "The Edinburgh suit" is located on the 1.st floor - and is the first apartment. There was one difficulty about communications with the people that are supervising the apartment because before we arrived it had to go through Booking.com that than forwarded the msg to Altido and sometimes took days to get reply. Through booking we made a request about late check out between 13-14 instead of 10 in the morning and it was accepted. The night before we left we got mail that was a reminder of us checking out at 10 in the morning. We called them on the number that was on a greeting card when we arrived but they said they never got the msg even though we told them about the conformation from booking. So we had to sort few things out because of that.

Nice place but expected handles on the drawers. Small details matter.

Very spacious. Good location.

Take a toilet brush. Theirs obviously doesn't work. At £700+ for three nights I would expect them to spend a little more on the pots and pans. Very poor condition.

Good location.

noisy at the front on Saturday and Sunday. The noise of a running motor at the back. TV in the living room has very few freeview channels. I couldn't change it.

Excellent location

Fabulous location and a beautiful apartment. comfortable beds with luxury linens.

Should be mentioned that very noisy at night but that should be expected in a city centre!!! Stairs to apartment are very very steep and very difficult for those with mobility issues or younger kids - again not an issue but should be mentioned.

Exceptional

The apartment was in an excellent location and within walking distance of major attractions and nightlife hotspots. It was very spacious. The beds were large and very comfortable. It had everything needed, from iron and ironing board to knives and chopping board.

Shower was cold Dishwasher full of dirty dishes Curtain hanging off Dirt on kitchen unit One small bit of soap for 4 people to share in two bathrooms and one kitchen Shower door broken We called and e mailed and this was never sorted over our 4 night stay.

A bit disappointing

Comfy beds, good location

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but I expected better for what we paid. Bathroom was still dirty when we arrived! The wifi was awful and the TV kept glitching and didn’t connect to Netflix for the kids. There was a piece of broken glass on the living room floor. Table place mats were dirty. Cupboards are tilting due to uneven floor and not safely attached to the wall with a bracket. Not safe with young children. The windows kept NO noise out from the streets and we couldn’t get to bed!
