From the relaxing sounds of the waterfall to the serenity of the salt water pool to the lush landscaping โ you can't help but immerse yourself in the beauty of Halele'a, our house of Joy. This home's island architecture naturally capitalizes on the awe-inspiring ocean and tropical landscape views. Each bedroom and living space features large windows and glass doors that invite the outdoors in allowing you to seamlessly enjoy the expansive lanai with the convenience of the house. The house features four Main Suites, all with their own private bathrooms and are unique in their own design and flare. All of the bedrooms have televisions, king sized beds and enjoy ocean views. One bedroom contains a King size bed can be separated into two twins upon request & for a fee, and a private bathroom. And a true differentiator โ you can enjoy a good night's sleep with zoned air conditioning that covers the entire home. The main primary suite is the only bedroom upstairs. It is beautifully appointed and a wonderful place to enjoy Kailua Bay views off of its private, large lanai. And the en-suite bathroom, with both bathtub and shower, is pure elegance! The large open kitchen is beautiful and a wonderful place for entertaining. The unique circular design and high ceilings lend themselves to an open feeling of creativity for making that perfect meal and enjoying those gatherings with family and friends. There are indoor and outdoor dining options with large tables, each with seating for 8. There is additional kitchen island stool seating. *The broiler does not work on the oven. There are plenty of lanai areas both in the sun or covered to enjoy the beautiful views in all directions with several chaise loungers and chairs. Whether you are enjoying some "me" time or spending time with friends and family, there is always something amazing to see such as stunning gardens with beautiful water features, fabulous ocean views and a pool that will knock your socks off! The designer pool is approximately 4.5 feet deep and 72 feet in length (good for lap swims) ending towards the ocean in a large circle with a beautiful plunge pool within reach! This amazing pool gets sun a good part of the day- depending on the time of year but, it stretches from morning to sunset. This home is located in the private, gated community of Keauhou Estates. There is quick and easy access to the cinema, the supermarket, the drugstore, Magic Sands Beach, the Snorkel Beach (Kahaluu), golf courses and a plethora of shopping and dining options. Minimum night varies seasonally 7 -10 nights. This is a Non-Smoking, No Pets Property. Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. This place is absolutely amazing. Location is great, ocean view is lovely from the home.
4 adult couples stayed here and we had a great amount of space. Bedrooms are lovely. All have proper showers not like the one photo. I was nervous about the one with the hand held but it was renovated to a lovely stand up. Only thing is the pool is very cold. It would be nice if they spent money for a solar pool heat system. The hot tub is on a timer so you need to turn it on and itโs only hot during the hours of 4-10 pm.
Kitchen is huge and well equipped.
Great places and great communication with the concierge David was amazing. He helped us book whale watching and night snorkeling with Mantas. Answered all questions we had before and during our stay.

The place is very well equipped. We have everything we needed. The only minor issue is the two bedroom is outside the main house. Would be more convenient if it is together. We have young children and wouldnโt let them go out without adult because of the swimming pool. Will stay here again

The house was as advertised and worked perfectly for four adults and two young children. The few minor repair issues were addressed immediately. We would return on another occasion.

We had an overall amazing stay at this beautiful home. I would stay here again if we ever come back. The only issues we had with the home were minor. We are very easy going and try not to sweat the small things. I would wake up to that beautiful view everyday of my life. It really was a dream home. We loved our welcome gifts and wanted to say thank you for being so thoughtful. 10 out of 10 would recommend this property for anyone looking for a dream trip. I just want to warn you that two of the bed rooms have what we believe were double beds that we strapped together for couples. The two couples that were staying in those rooms had a little trouble with them separating. Other then that the bedroom set ups were great for the three sets of couples that were on the trip. Again, it was a great location.

The property was amazing, the location quite and within a few miles of everything. The ocean view from the master br room was beautiful. The house easily supported 8 adults. There was plenty of space, kitchen utensils, tv,s, etc. If there was anything I would add to this already beautiful property is a powder room in the main part of the house as it would make it more convenient when folks are enjoying each other company but need to run off to their expected to room to use the facilities.

Fabulous property inside and out. 4 spacious mater suites. Huge, well-stocked kitchen. Lovely furnishings throughout. Best feature is the extensive outdoor covered spaces for entertaining, dinning or just lounging, all with wonderful ocean views. We are already planning on coming back next year.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation together. The grand kiddos loved swimming in the poo;. The views of the ocean were spectacular. We ate most of the meals at the house and loved the kitchen layout. Great Vacation thank-you!

We stayed for a week at this beautiful home in Keauhou. The house is big with four separate suites and lots of sitting areas on lanais (there seemed to be as much outdoor space as inside!). The kitchen is really big so lots of room for cooking - could use some more essentials (cooking implements, bakeware) for such a large home. The dishwasher needs to be serviced or consider replacing. Be advised that the oven takes a looooong time to preheat.
We were warned by other reviewers that the pool was COLD and they were not wrong. Only my determined 12-year old braved the pool. What was annoying was that the hot tub heater is on a timer to only function from 4-8 PM and it takes a couple of hours to actually heat up, so the usability of the hot tub is extremely limited. This was a disappointment to us.
Other than those issues, the house is lovely and the layout made for a very pleasant stay for our party of three adults and two teens.

The house was great. Was a little concerned about 2 bedrooms not part of the main house but it actually was a perfect setting. Me (grandma) had the master suite and 2 grandchildren (ages 11 & 14) stayed in the guest room that has 2 twins. Both daughters & 1 son-in-law stayed in the 2 bedrooms not part of the main house and they loved it. Each room had their own bathroom, bedroom fans (which is a must for me) & T.V.'s in all the rooms. Patio was our main sitting area and PLENTY of comfortable seating. Pool was great too, I am not a pool person and I even went into it for a swim. Kitchen is very large, had plenty of utensils & 3 different coffee makers. We definitely did not bump into each other in this kitchen. Location was perfect, easy to find when you follow their directions. All in all, I highly recommend this property and if I come back with my family, I would definitely book it again.

We had 6 adults, in this big home we had plenty of room where we could all be together or be apart when wanted. Beautiful home, great kitchen and ability to cook/grill and enjoy the outside patios and pool. Great location and overall a 5 star experience. We had a couple small issues and the property management team were outstanding to work with.

Beautiful Home in Paradise
My husband and I together with two other couples spent a week in this beautiful, well appointed home. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own individual space and plenty of space for us to gather. We especially enjoyed all of the different spaces outside. The kitchen is very large and was very well equipped with everything we needed. The home is in a gated community so we felt incredibly safe. After the initial check-in at the gate, it was a breeze getting in and out of the property. Two of the bedrooms are accessed from the outside (next to the pool). Certainly not a problem with adults but may pose a problem if traveling with children. The pool isn't heated but was warm enough to enjoy as long as the sun was out. You will definitely need a car as shopping, restaruants and beaches are too far to access on foot.

Couples vacation
We were 4 couples staying for 2 weeks of relaxation and golf. Plenty of room for 8 people to spread out, the lanai and outdoor dining area is excellent. Pool is great. Kitchen well appointed. All 4 bedrooms are good. Property manager very responsive. Surprisingly quiet for being situated on the corner. No common powder room, though, so if you have guests, as we did, they have to use one of the bathrooms attached to a bedroom.

Relaxing at Keauhou
Beautiful property with many amenities which was perfect for a relaxing week with the family in the Kona area. Hope to return again soon. One side note is that the pool is a bit cool for mid October swimming as it is shaded for most of the day. But otherwise - perfect.

Great stay on the big island
I went with my family of 4 and we all had a great time! The outdoor space at the house was amazing - we spent most of our time out there when we were around the house. The pool was huge, and there was even a hot tub (it isn't mentioned in the description, but the small tub next to the pool is a hot tub). The sunset views were great. As seen in the pictures, the house is basically all outside if you open all of the large sliding doorways, but we only did that the first day as we noticed a lot of bugs got into the house. It still felt very spacious and open even with the doors closed. I'd say the only downside of the house was that it was so beautiful that we did a bit less exploring of the big island than we otherwise would have since no one wanted to leave!

Beautiful house but I would not recommend it for small children. You walk across a bridge over the pool to access 2 of the bedrooms. I'm used to finding some basic provisions in the kitchen. There were none, not even salt and pepper. There were only 2 beach chairs, a third was broken. Lots of snorkel equipment and boogie boards. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We spent most of our time outside on the ample lounge and seating areas.

Great house! It was lovely and we had such a nice time. It was big enough so that everyone could spread out when they wanted to - both indoors and outside. Beautiful view of the Kona sunsets! We're hoping to come back again.
