Very friendly people
The whole area has bad electricity. We had some problems with charge our mobile phones. The electricity in the restaurant is stronger and available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Pashko. The room was basic but clean, with a lovely mountain view, and provided a comfortable night’s rest after a day of hiking.
The guesthouse is tucked away at the end of the valley, which means you can enjoy the peace and quiet away from the crowds in the centre of Theth. The garden, with its casual tables and chairs, is a great place to relax in the afternoon or evening and interact with fellow travellers while enjoying an ice cold beer from the guesthouse well-stocked fridge.
Pashko and Vera are warm and welcoming hosts. We especially enjoyed our conversations with them about Albania and some former-Yugoslav music. Pashko also makes great raki, if that’s your thing!

Electricity occasionally goes out in the valley, as the old power infrastructure struggles to keep up with the growing demand in the valley. This affects multiple guesthouses that don’t have backup generators. It didn’t bother us much during our stay, but it’s something to be aware of if you need to charge your devices—just take the opportunity to do so when the power is on.

It was a comfortable guest house with good breakfast. Vera, the main host was nice and friendly.
Sadly what ruined it for us was one member of staff. He was very unfriendly and unhelpful. We had booked a bus back to Shkoder through the guesthouse which never turned up and apparently it was “not normal”. However this member of staff, Josef, didn’t seem interested to help out in this situation and just told us to go to the village to look for other options! Theth is a tiny village in the middle of mountains so there was obviously no other options after 5pm!! We ended up having to hitchhike back to Shkoder. This ruined our visit to Theth.
