Good size room with a nice view onto native bush. Good having cooking rings to prepare a meal. Nice hot water and shower. Self-check in was easy and quick. We liked the timber building and the feeling of being in the bush. Good having a balcony although it was raining too much to use it. Good location as a stopover before heading over the pass.
It would be helpful to have another spare blanket - there were two beds but only one extra blanket. It was cold and wet throughout our visit - some form of extra heating apart from the wall panel would have been nice. Other helpful items to have available would be a dish brush, scissors, face cloths, kitchen hand towel and kitchen tongs

Grt location -advertises sea view but the bushes need to be trimmed down to enable this sea view so disappointed
Not having a sea view whilst relaxing in the lounge.
Can’t comment on staff either as saw none.

Stunning view in bush surroundings. 2 bed unit spacious for the 4 of us.
The ratings on this website did not prepare us for how grubby & tired this unit was. It is “off-season”, mid-winter so maybe they are due a repaint, but the first thing I saw walking in was oily wipe marks left on the stove, then all the scuff marks on the walls & ceilings. Food smooch on the wall & sofa too. Bathroom was clean but shower drain cover floated around while you were in there. Sheets came off the single beds as soon as you moved showing no mattress protectors and the extra blanket smelled of someone else’s dinner. We rolled up the rug in the lounge area because it looked so grubby. I note the owners were not there but others covering for them- obviously not good enough substitutes.
