My stay at The Yurt on Gigha was amazing! The Yurt itself is wonderful, very cosy and well situated in the middle of the island - perfect for exploring! Joe was so welcoming and hospitable - there was already everything I needed in the yurt but Joe was ready to provide anything else you might need.
You absolutely need to try their food at The Nook, it is delicious!
I highly recommend staying at The Yurt, it made for such a wonderful time on Gigha

Gigha is a lovely island and the Yurt at the local store is very convenient. Joe’s Nook takeaway was a highlight of the trip and the best fish and chips we have eaten in Scotland.
The Yurt is comfortable and had it not been for the poor weather,we would have used the outside seating and BBQ.
Joe is very friendly and helpful.
You can’t choose the weather, but the outside washing area has no protection from the rain.

Wonderfully quirky accomodation with wonderful hosts on a gorgeous wee island. Bonus proximity to the island shop and takeaway with one of the best fish n chip meals I've ever had! (Highly recommend the chicken salt seasoning on the chips)
Bedding and pillows, especially as we were traveling by ferry/foot.

The yurt is in a great location right beside the Ardminish Village Shop and The Nook seafood shack (highly recommended) It is well equipped comfortable and cosy, a lovely place to stay and relax in the peace of Gigha. Joe and Hannah are great hosts and we would love to go back.
