We had a lovely, warm welcome from Jim and Nicky. This is a really beautiful house, full of character and charm with two gorgeous cats. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were perfect for us: TV, tea and coffee, wardrobe, lovely bedding and lots of towels, plus free toiletries. A peaceful setting opposite a pretty church with parking. Full English breakfast was in the former classroom with a high vaulted ceiling. Excellent homemade jam and marmalade was provided and was also available to purchase. We thoroughly recommend The School House.

Really comfy bed (nice firm mattress), very good breakfast with home-made marmalade, and good coffee. Nicky and Jim were attentive, friendly and interesting hosts.
Nothing really, it was a lovely stay. If I had to think of something I might say that as well as the offer to bring fresh milk when requested, a couple of sachets of UHT for the morning might have been an idea.

loved the location and walking around the garden seeing all the plants growing. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty especially the homemade jam. lovely to hear about the school history and eating breakfast which was in one of the original school rooms.
