Check in was easy. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and we had an evening meal on the day of arrival which was very good.

Welcomed by helpful friendly staff , comfortable clean accommodation , great value for money . Food in the restaurant was amazing especially the gluten free options . Little extras like coffee water tea in the room , shower gels etc very relaxed pub atmosphere . Perfect for a stopover while exploring

We booked this as stop off on the way back East after visiting family in the Devon. We arrived a little late in the day and, having had lunch, we did not try the evening menu but had a couple of pints in the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. We both slept well and enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning. Overall, everything we wanted.
A shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on would have been very useful.
