A complimentary ‘welcome’ drink sets the tone for the friendly staff and hospitality you’ll find here. The hotel lobby is a breath of fresh aircon from the hot, dusty streets, and when you get to your room, you’ll find them serviceable if not a little worn. I have given this hotel three-and-a-half stars rather than the four stars it claims because it has seen better days. I got the Superior Double Room with breakfast. I think the photos of the rooms were obviously taken with soft lighting and when the hotel was newer. The TV worked well with plenty of channels in a variety of languages to choose from. The Wi-Fi was good enough, if not a little slow sometimes. The table and two chairs in the hotel room were good to study or work, or you could use the desk. However, with only one electrical socket near the desk, and only two in the room total, you need to think ahead when it comes to charging your devices. The desk lamp and kettle use the same electricity socket, so they are additional appliances to juggle for access to the power point. Some small things go a long way. The room had a clock on the wall, which was great. Also, there were scales in the room to weigh your luggage or for those of use who like to monitor their weight. An iron and ironing board helps if you like those sorts of things. The TV was a little bigger than other places I stayed and the generous cupboards and floor space helped make the place feel roomy. There was enough space to put things without getting lost in a jumble.
The breakfasts are good but did not change much over the five days I stayed here. The coffee was good, which means a lot to me as a person who enjoys their morning beverage. There is a selection of fruit (papaya or watermelon, pineapple, and dragonfruit); Khmer noodles; eggs of various styles; toast and croissants; muesli or cereal; salad; and fried rice, fried noodles, or congee. The ‘fresh’ milk comes from a carton. The noodles were a little salty. Even the Khmer person I talked to did not think they were good. The eggs were a little oily. After three days, I wanted more options. The gym is disappointing. All of the cardio machines (bike, cross-trainer, running machine) are not connected to the electricity. The photos look impressive but in reality they are old now and not working. The cross-trainer is rusty. I adjusted the leg length on one side but could not move the other. There are dumb bells and resistance machines for chest, legs, lats and triceps, so it will do in a pinch, but the cardio options are terrible. I suggest you do laps in the pool if you need to but forget running. The gym is also a hothouse, and the aircon was not working. So, time your visit for the morning or evening because you can fry an egg in there during the middle of the day (and the equipment has aged because of this).

Hard to say that there was anything lacking here. Great value.

Quite central location and the rooms are quite spacious.
The rooms are quite dated and on my stay, mine had a musty smell. Breakfast was pretty basic. Not a bad place for the prices.
