The breakfast was extremely good with a good selection including Salmon and Poached Egg together with a Full English.
The property is situated in magnificent countryside with a great view across the valley. I also has a large beer garden and large car park.
The bar is comfortable with open fires and plenty of seating, it also has an extensive drinks selection.
The rooms are warm and well equipped with comfortable beds and large, nice bath/shower rooms
All the staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient

Very comfy bed and so happy to have a bath after a day of hiking!
Felt very dated. The WiFi didn’t work which isn’t great when you’re in a location with limited signal. Very noisy when the pub closed and we were sleeping in room one so could hear all of the noise out the front and above the room. It also was very overpriced for what we received.
