Breakfast was a very nice selection, freshly cooked and nicely presented with an option to choose from a range of options. Location was just great with the pavilion Gardens just across the (pedestrien only) road in front of the hotel. Easy access to all the sites and facilities around the gardens and 'lower' Buxton and a short uphill walk from the back of the hotel to the shops mar ket areaand many take-aways and restaurants in 'higher' Buxton.

The breakfast was fine and we could have what we asked for. the location was ideal, we could walk to the town centre and through a very well looked after park.
the room was ok apart from a cracked sink, plug that didnt hold the water, no bulb in the shaver light so not working, could do with a few more sockets in room, the light in the bathroom was very poor.
