The apartment has excellent views and is ideal for staying in Jelsa.
You need to be active or have a car.
There are 166 steps from sea level but that's how you get great views.
Plenty of towels.
Dishwasher.
Bottle of wine on arrival, very much appreciated.
The air-conditioning is not adequate for the apartment size. Even left full on its placement in the kitchen means it struggles to lower the room temperature by even 1 degree.
No spare sheets or washing machine.
10 nights without decent air-conditioning creates the need for at least one change of sheets.
No kitchen basics. Salt, pepper, herbs, oil, etc.
Cleaning products for work surfaces and cooker hob.
Scourer.
3 toilet rolls for 10 nights is not enough but 3 more were provided on request.
There's a massive price shift in Croatia since the arrival of the euro and I understand that prices need to increase. But as prices increase and get nearer to prices at home, then little things like I've mentioned need to be included.
Non of these items were a big issue for us as we are regular visitors to Croatia, but if your prices keep increasing then the services should match the price.

Great apartment with spectacular views and very nice hosts. Location on a quiet street close to town centre. Highly recommended!

Peter truly is an amazing host, such a warm and friendly guy, and his family as well. We had the (very) last minute request to check in earlier because we arrived a few hours earlier in Jelsa than we originally expected, and the family made sure everything was cleaned and ready as soon as we arrived! On arrival we got a refreshing home-made drink and a big plate of fresh tomatoes from their own garden. Peter had tips for nice beaches, where to rent a scooter, etc. On our last day we had to get to Stari Grad early in the morning to catch the ferry at 7am, and Peter brought us there without charging anything for it!
The appartement itself is also really great. Clean, spacious, literally everything you need is there, and what an amazing view you have over Jelsa!
