The property is very nicely maintained and I liked the layout. The pool was excellent. It’s quiet and no one hassles you at all. Martin the manager is very hands on and on top of everything without you ever noticing. It’s exactly what we needed after 6 days of early safaris

Perfect for some peace and quiet. Very private. Beautiful view (we had sea view) staff were amazing. Food was delicious. It really is beautiful. Well thought out and well designed complex.
We loved it!
I would have preferred no children as they were sometimes loud by the pool. Drinks were a little pricey for Zanzibar (in comparison) but what you’d expect from a boutique hotel.

El personal fue extremadamente amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. El desayuno fue excelente, con muy buena variedad y calidad. La habitación era amplia, muy cómoda y limpia, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable.
La ubicación no fue de nuestro agrado, ya que está bastante alejada de los principales puntos turísticos. Para prácticamente cualquier salida era necesario tomar un coche, lo que implicaba trayectos largos y un costo adicional en transporte. La playa frente al hotel no nos pareció especialmente bonita y la piscina podría mejorar en cuanto a limpieza. Además, el primer día de nuestra estancia hubo un corte de internet y también nos quedamos sin agua durante varias horas, por lo que no pudimos ducharnos ni utilizar los servicios de la habitación, lo que resultó bastante incómodo.

The views were very nice and the tranquility also.
When we arrived, the room was very dirty, towels had big stains on them, the door look was broken,the private swimming pool was full of leaves and general rubbish, the mosquito net was very ripped, completely rendering it useless. When trying to sleep the rooms are not very well isolated, you can hear everything and especially the animals and bugs that live in the ceiling, it can be quite distracting when trying to get some rest.
Generally the Staff could be more on top of things as its a premium hotel with a premium price tag, we had very high expectations for this stay as if you stay around Zanzibar, this hotel is one of the most recommended. Unfortunately due to this we will not be coming back to this hotel, a real shame.
