Definitely the best hotel in Tirana! It has its own unique atmosphere and charm. The hotel is very well located (just a short walk to the city centre) and is one of the few to have a swimming pool, which is a huge plus on a hot day. The breakfasts are excellent and the staff are brilliant! If you’re browsing hotel offers and wondering which one to choose, and this one puts you off because of its old-fashioned décor, I guarantee that choosing the ‘Orchidea’ will be the best decision! It’s very clean, and the staff are flexible – even though the hotel isn’t new or particularly modern, it ensures a wonderful stay! I highly recommend it

Pool was small, but a good number of sunbeds available for the number of guests while we were there.
Breakfast was good with a nice selection of different foods to eat.
Room was OK with air conditioning to keep cool.
The staff were very helpful and provided good local information.
The Internet was quite unreliable in the room and the hotel and didn't work at all around the pool.

NICE STAFF, POOL LOOKED NICE BUT TOO COLD TO GO IN...TURTLES AND TORTOISE PLOTTED AROUND THE GRASS AND IN THE FOUNTAIN A NICE TOUCH.
ROOM NICELY DECORATED BUT COULD HAVE DONE WITH A BIT LESS FURNITURE. BALCONY GAVE A NICE VIEW BUT NOT CENTRAL TO SEE MUCH.
LET US STAY IN THE ROOM FOR A BIT TO WORK UNTIL TIME TO LEAVE FOR AIRPORT.
POOL WASNT HEATED. FELT LIKE HOTEL WAS CLOSED AND WE WERE ONLY PEOPLE THERE. BREAKFAST ADEQUATE BUT FOOD ON TABLE BEFORE WE GOT THERE AND ORANGE JUICE WAS LIKE SQUASH.
ROOM WISE SHOWER HAD ONE DOOR. WHEN REPORTED THEY CAME AND CHANGE THE SHOWER HEAD AND LEFT THE L DOOR AS IT WAS.
LOCATION WAS HARD TO FIND.
NO FOOD OR DRINKS AVAILABLE AND WASNT SURE IF THEY SERVED DINNER AS NOTHING ADVERTISED.
